What to expect
A closer look at Toyota Prado 4x4
The Prado is the only vehicle in this fleet that continues after the asphalt ends. High Atlas tracks, villages above Imlil, and desert pistes are why it is here. Six seats and about four bags is the load it is set up for.
On a normal paved transfer a Vito or a Trafic is the better booking: more luggage room, and no need for four-wheel drive. Ask for the Prado when at least part of the day is a track, or when the tour you chose already runs that way.
The driver knows which passes to cross and where a van should not be taken. That judgement is the service. The vehicle is air-conditioned and insured for the passengers named on the quote.

Practical questions
Clear answers before you book. Ask us directly if your route or group needs something different.
When do I need the 4x4 instead of a van?
When the road is unpaved: High Atlas tracks, some valley roads, and desert pistes. For the airport, Casablanca or Essaouira on the motorway, a van or the Sprinter is the right category.
How many passengers?
Six seats and about four bags. For a larger group on a track, ask us. We can send more than one Prado rather than put people in a vehicle that cannot do the road.
Can the Prado do a multi-day desert trip?
Yes. Merzouga and similar circuits can be run in the 4x4 when the group is small. Larger groups use the Sprinter or the coach on the paved sections, with a 4x4 only where the piste requires it.
