AGAFAY AND DAM EXCURSION

This beautiful adventure combines an exciting mix of the greenery of the high atlas and the freshness of the takarkouste lake and the great agafay desert in one day.

Support at your accommodation at 09:30 distination the kik plateau through the high atlas with its Berber villages and moulay brahim caves arrived at the kik plateau where we have time to enjoy a glass of tea at the berebers and discover the traditional life of the locals with a splendid view of the takarkouste lake.

Continue our adventure to reach the great agafay desert where photo stops impose a really far corner of the world or the possibility of doing activities (dromedary/ quad/ bugget).

After a delicious lunch at the homestay return to marrakech at 16:00

What to Expect

The Agafay Desert is a dunes-like desert with light yellow to red stones in some areas. It sounds like the concept of desert, but with its own unique features!

It is a very steep desert place with abandoned settlements, where you can cross the bank of a river for some greenery and a spectacular view of the snowy Atlas mountains in winter. Notice how wonderful the light is at the end of the day; it’s a sight you won’t soon forget!
